This VR-experience is designed to raise awareness about cybersecurity risks in an informative and engaging way.
The VR-experience highlights some topics related to cyber- and information security, in order to make the user reflect on their own practices. However, the learnings from this experience will not make you, or your organization, immune against threats. The exercises presented in the experience do not realistically represent all the varieties of existing (or future) cyberthreats. The developer of this app (Virsabi ApS) cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses that may occur related to cybersecurity incidents, that may occur to you, or your organization.
Safety Conditions
By using the VR headset, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted META’s safety conditions.
Inspect the VR Headset Before Use
- Check the VR headset for damage before use.
- If something doesn’t seem to be working correctly while using the VR headset, remove it and inspect the issue.
- Never disassemble the VR headset.
- Never let your colleagues use a damaged or defective VR headset.
- Ensure the VR headset is charged before use and keep spare AA batteries for the controllers if needed.
Setting Up the VR Headset
- Secure the VR headset straps around your wrist to avoid dropping or throwing the VR headset.
- Adjust the fit.
- Ensure the lenses are clean.
- If you have impaired vision and wear glasses, try using the glasses behind the VR headset. An extra spacer is provided with the VR headset to accommodate larger glasses.
- Take regular breaks.
- Use the VR headset with flat shoes and never with high heels.
- Do not smoke while using the VR headset.
Setting Up the VR Room
The VR room should be a safe environment away from:
- Stairs
- Balconies
- Windows
- Walls
- Loose rugs
- TVs and other screens
- Low-hanging lamps and furniture you can bump into or trip over.
Keep a safe distance from fragile items such as glass, bottles, and high-value valuables. The environment should be adequately lit and used only indoors.
The VR room should never be in:
- Kitchens
- Bathrooms
- Other potentially hazardous environments.
Ensure there are no other people, children, or pets in the VR room that you might collide with. Have a buddy nearby to look out for you while you use the VR headset.
Never use VR headsets if you:
- Feel unwell
- Are under the influence of drugs or intoxicated
- Are on medication that can affect your balance and judgment
- Have a hangover, are exhausted, or sick
- Are pregnant
- Are mentally unwell, stressed, or suffer from anxiety.
The VR headset may contain magnets or components that emit radio signals, which can affect the performance of nearby electronic devices, including pacemakers, hearing aids, and defibrillators. Stop using the VR headset if you notice that your medical device is being affected.
People in the Room Should Not Harass You in Any Way, Including by:
- Pushing you
- Touching you
